Green Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, water, wind and geothermal heat, which are self-replenishing. As of now, approximately 16% of the world energy comes from renewable, with biomass and hydropower accounting to major portion of it.

The main motivation behind the usage of renewable energy would be the depleting supply of fossil fuels, accompanied with the volatility in its prices. It has been estimated that the world supply of fossil fuels would deplete within the next 100 years. Furthermore, global warming is an evident cause from the burning of fossil fuels which raises major concerns.

Compared to fossil fuels, renewable energy has the tendency to cause less pollution and environmental impact. Technology allows energy such as sunlight and wind to be harnessed with almost no negative impacts except during the production and implementation of the facility necessary.

Coupled with the increasing trend observed in world energy consumption, there is definitely a need to explore into renewable energy sources. While steeper price is expected even as of now, the price would definitely decrease with technological advances as well as increasingly better receptions from users.
